It’s not only an Event, it’s an Experience

Breathe A Festival of Life will be held over 5 days.

Wednesday 6th August - Sunday 11th August 2025.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to create a Breathwork Festival that brings people together to explore and experience the power of the breath.

Breathe: A Festival of Life aims to welcome practitioners of all breathwork styles, to share their wisdom with fellow breathers, who may or may not have previous experience of breathwork.

We envision that this wonderful community will continue to grow and expand, and for breathwork to be more widely recognised and used as a powerful modality that is available to each and every one of us, to assist us in our healing journeys; the individual, collective and planetary.

Breathe: A Festival of Life is a celebration of the power of the breath and of breathing together.

It is a celebration of life, in all its colours and shades.

It is a programme for you on your own unique journey, wherever you are at, for wherever you want to be heading. Alongside that we breathe for each other and the whole and we send our prayers and wishes out to the world.

The comprehensive 5 day programme allows plenty of space for you to dip and dive in to the workshops, talks and other activities; including movement, meditation, dance, walks - you are free to go at your own pace.

It is our hope that the Breathe festival intentions of fun, lightness, ease and grace, will be infused into our weekend and into our lives beyond.

Held in a safe and nurturing environment, in beautiful and uplifting grounds, you will share this adventure with an array of wonderful practitioners who will provide guidance and support along the way.

‘‘As you breathe in cherish yourself.

As you breathe out cherish all beings.’’

Meet the Team

The Breathe Team are all volunteers passionate about Breathwork. After a successful launch of the festival in 2018, the team have been busy making their dreams become a reality.

Below is an image of 4 out 5 team members: Kerry, Mark, Karolina and Hannah. (Cate is our camera-shy but deeply present fifth member).

Kerry and Karolina, having had similar visions for an annual Breathwork event in the UK, were connected together by a mutual friend. Soon after joined by James and Kath, “Breathe A Festival of life” has been taking shape ever since, having a life force of its own. The Breathe team feel honoured to birth this exciting project, and it has been a joy to collaborate and connect with others along the way.  The team was proud to welcome Mark on board during 2019, Cate in 2021, and now HUGE welcome to Hannah in 2022, to support the expansion and growth of the festival.

Whilst the intention initially was for a smaller gathering, the collective and longer term vision for Breathe is to host a Breathwork festival, open and accessible to larger numbers, from all walks of life.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to this year’s event!

Kerry Veitch

Kerry has been connected with rebirthing breathwork since 1993 and is a certified practitioner with two different schools. She focuses on embodiment practices such as Internal Family Systems and Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing, using a trauma informed approach. Kerry is a trainer with AIR School of Breathwork guiding & supporting students through deep personal processes to achieve a qualification in breathwork facilitation. She loves sharing the healing power of the breath with others, by holding retreats, weekly online group sessions, 1:1 sessions, and her deepest love, warm water rebirthing.

Karolina Mikulicz

Karolina’s search for a better, more present life, lead her to a Loving Relationship Training with the Mother of Rebirthing - Sondra Ray in 2012. That moment changed her, as for the first time she recognized and experienced the power of the breath. She began extended training, wishing to share this beautiful gift with others.

Currently living in Bournemouth, born in Poland, Karolina is a Rebirthing Breathwork and Liberation Breathing Practitioner, Breath Coach in training, Meditation Guide, an event organizer and a co-founder of Breathe A Festival of Life.

Mark Conrad

Mark joined the team in 2019. Mark discovered Breathwork in 2006 by experimenting after reading Stan Grof's books. That begun a wonderful journey with Rebirthing Breathwork that led him to take a long-term voluntary role in the International Breathwork Foundation until 2017.  Breathwork communities have been for Mark, perhaps without exception, the most truthful, open and alive that I have been lucky enough to come across.

Cate Dunne

Cate is an Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with the BACP, equine facilitated psychotherapist and a clinical supervisor. One of Cate's interests in rebirthing breathwork is how it relates to body/muscle trauma memory and the role of the breath in safely facilitating release.

Hannah Kendaru

Hannah joined the Breathe team after having a vision for connecting with the UK community of Breathwork Facilitators. She is an Indonesian-British Breathwork therapist and trauma specialist. She is passionate about reclaiming the breath as a radical rebellion against all the ways we have been taught to play it small. She is founder of Inspire Breathwork and The Forest Garden, an initiative that combines the work of embodied social justice, decolonial healing and breathwork. Breathwork and embodiment brings us back into the deep remembrance of what freedom really means, remembering our souls and spirit through resilience and imagination, to remember our wisdoms for deep collective liberation.
